Azimute is a series created for use at the Couto Magalhães school. Focused on children, Azimute tells the story of a group of children from the 1930s who discover an artifact in the basement of Jaime’s house. The artifact, which belonged to the boy’s bird, makes them travel through time and space to live adventures and solve mysteries so that they can return to their own time.

Initially released in video format as an animatic, after 3 chapters the format was changed to ebook, with audiobook versions narrated by the teacher.
The series has 2 seasons, the first with 15 chapters and the second with 5.

In this series I worked as an illustrator, co-writer, animator, video editor and layout designer. I also worked on building the website for access to teachers who used the series’ material with their students.

The series was made in 2 formats, one for younger children 1-6 and the other for older ones, 7-11. The illustrations and activities were adapted in both versions.
